Titanium Dioxide Report: As per reports, Cristal Global (Cristal) stated that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in Asia Pacific, by US $150 per metric tonne effective December 1, 2009, or as permitted by contract.These increases are in addition to the previous announcements of June 17 and August 24, 2009.Cristal Global is the world's second-largest producer of titanium dioxide and a leading producer of titanium chemicals.

Titanium Dioxide Report: As per the information through one of our sources and having a conversation with buyers, imports of Tio2 of both Anatase and Rutile have dipped marginally to 9321 MT during the month of Sept 2009 which has been down by 3 percent.. Most of the cargoes have been procured from USA 2134MT (23%), Taiwan 1760 MT(19%), Australia 812 MT(9%), China 1239MT (13%), SIngapore 746 MT(8 %), Saudi 500 MT(5%), Germany 452 MT(5 %), Malaysia 480 MT( 5 %), Korea 204 MT (2%), Czech 234 MT (3 %), Belgium 273 MT(3%) Finland, Norway, France & Ukraine 1% each and others at 2 %.
