Titanium Dioxide Report: As per the data obtained from Indian customs department, India exported only 1031 MT of Tio2 from January 2009 to March 2009, where as it had exported 6560 MT from January 2008 to March 2008. Compared to last quarter exports of the country have fallen by almost 536%. Coming to the next quarter that is from April to June exports of the country again have fallen by 945% from 3324 MT in April 2008 to June 2008 it has come down to 318 MT in April 2009 to June 2009. Looking at the current quarter exports of the country have increased in the current year but comparing it with the last years statistics it again reflects a decrease of 119% from 2682 MT it has come down to 1223 MT in July 2009 to September 2009.
